How often should commercial windows be cleaned?

Storefront windows are a great way to enhance curbside appeal, providing they are cleaned on a regular basis. After all, no customer wants to shop at a “dirty” store. But just how often should commercial windows be cleaned?

Unfortunately, there’s no one right answer to this question and instead, it depends on a few factors. If you live an area that experiences poor weather, such as lots of rain, snow and ice, you’ll need to clean your windows a bit more. Heavy traffic areas are also subject to more cleanings, as fingerprints and busy shoppers are sure to create more mess.

In general, commercial windows should be cleaned 2-3 times per year. This removes buildup before it becomes a bigger problem and also allows a chance for the windows to be inspected to check for any liability issues. For in between cleans, professional-grade glass cleaner will ward off fingerprints and mild buildup.
